The Hub Dashboard
The hub dashboard is the starting point for one AI Hub. It gives you quick access to Journeys, Conversations, Analytics, Offers, Users, the shared Document Library, AI Hub Settings, Preview as User, and Canvas View.
Customize Your Hub
Open **Hub Settings** to control your hub's name, appearance, content, emails, AI behavior, access, login experience, domains, and analytics. **General** holds the logo and background; **Customize** holds the layout, theme, style, labels, badge, and default content colors.
Customize a Journey
Customize a journey's name, welcome content, appearance, completion popup, and visibility from its Settings page. Content has two tabs: **Welcome & Explanation** and **Completion**.

Customize a milestone's name, welcome content, appearance, completion popup, visibility, and versions from its Settings page. Content has two tabs: **Welcome & Explanation** and **Completion**.
Create a Conversation
Open **Conversations**, select **New Conversation**, and answer a few questions in the Conversation Builder. OBIE writes the prompt and creates the Conversation as a draft, ready for you to review and publish.
Edit Steps and Questions
Open a step to choose its type, edit its name and prompt, add questions, and control visibility. OBIE supports Regular, Fixed Guidance, Timeline, Option, and Deliverable steps, plus six question types.
Understanding Milestone Versions
Milestone versions let members complete the same milestone more than once — each time as a separate, named version with its own progress and answers. Useful for programs where members repeat a process for different clients, projects, or time periods.
Disable Milestone Versioning
Turn off milestone versioning from the milestone's Settings → Versions page. Disabling it prevents members from creating new versions but preserves any existing versions they've already started.
Customize the Background for a Milestone
Every milestone inherits its background from its journey, or from the hub when the journey doesn't have one. Turn on **Customize background** to give one milestone its own color, gradient, or image.
How Visibility Rules Work
Visibility rules hide content until a user meets the conditions you set. Rules can use progress, answers, dates and times, time on the platform, tags, or active offers, and date-based rules can follow the hub time zone or each user's local time.
Use Conversations in Your Hub
Use Page Settings to control the whole Conversations section, and open an individual Conversation to control its prompt, documents, prerequisites, and visibility. Prerequisites depend on required steps; Visibility rules support broader conditions such as tags, offers, dates, and progress.
Canvas View: See and Rearrange Your Whole Hub
Canvas View is a visual map of your hub — journeys, milestones, and steps as connected cards you can drag to reorder, add to in place, and focus one branch at a time. Open it with the Canvas View button on your hub's Journeys page.
Choose a Layout for Your AI Hub
Choose from six layouts to change how your AI Hub looks and flows for users: Default, Path, Sidebar, Gallery, Book, or Tiles. A layout changes presentation only, so your content, access rules, settings, and user progress stay intact.
How Do I Rename My AI Hub or Change Its URL?
Edit AI Hub Name or AI Hub URL under Hub Settings → General, then select Save Pending Edits. The fields are independent. Changing the name doesn't change the address; changing the subdomain means you'll need to update old links because they don't redirect.
Connect a Custom Domain to Your AI Hub
Add your domain under Hub Settings → Advanced → Custom Domain, create the one DNS record OBIE shows you, then select Verify. When the status reads Verified, your hub answers on your own domain instead of its .obie.io subdomain.
Customize Your Hub's Welcome Emails
Go to Hub Settings → Welcome Emails to edit the welcome email's subject and body, then select Save Pending Edits. Keep the resetUrl variable in the template so users can set their password.
Change Who Your Hub's Emails Come From
In Hub Settings → Welcome Emails, From Name sets the sender name users see and Reply-To Email sets where replies go. Verify a new reply-to address, then select Save Pending Edits to apply it.
Enable Voice Input in Your AI Hub
Your users can speak their answers instead of typing and review the text before submitting. Enable Voice input in Hub Settings → Customize, confirm Turn on, then select Save Pending Edits.
What Base Prompts Do and How to Set Them
Base Prompts is where you tell the AI who your hub is for, what result it produces, and how it should sound. The Step Base Prompt is prepended to every step generation, and the fields below it are background context reused across steps, offer pages, and offer chat.
Core Questions: Give the AI Context That Carries Forward
Mark a supported step question as Core when its answer should become context for every step the user completes afterward. File Upload questions can't be Core Questions.
Hub SEO Settings: Titles, Previews, and Indexing
Under Hub Settings → Advanced → SEO you set the meta title, meta description, and social share image used in search results and link previews, plus an SEO switch that asks search engines not to index your hub's public pages when off.
Hub Analytics Settings: Connect Your Tracking Platforms
Under Hub Settings → Advanced → Analytics you paste one ID per platform — GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Clarity, Pinterest — and OBIE injects that platform's standard script on your hub's public pages. Blank fields are skipped.
Customize Your Journeys Page
Open your hub's Journeys section and select Page Settings to change the descriptive text on the main Journeys card and the Journeys listing page. The same settings also let you add an explainer title, formatted description, image or video, layout, and icon.
How Do I Duplicate an AI Hub?
Duplicating an AI Hub copies the whole hub: journeys, milestones, steps, conversation templates, knowledge documents, base prompts, branding, and settings. Members, free passes, user chats, and progress stay with the original, and the copy arrives unpublished on its own -copy link with no custom domain.
Add Another Journey to an Existing Hub
Open your hub's Journeys page and select New Journey. Use the AI Hub Builder to create its milestones and steps, or select Advanced Mode to create an empty journey manually.
How to Delete an AI Hub
Open the hub's menu, select Delete AI Hub, review the content and document options, type the hub's exact name, and select Delete Forever. Org Admins and Managers can delete hubs. Use Disable instead if you only want to take yours offline.
Upload Custom Icons in Your AI Hub
Open an icon chooser, select Upload image, and choose a PNG, JPEG, or WebP file up to 10 MB. Crop it in Resize image, select Save Image, then preview and save the settings.
Customize Completion Popups for Steps and Your AI Hub
Open Step Settings → Completion and choose Custom dialog to show a popup after an individual Step, even before its Milestone is finished. Customize AI Hub, Journey, and Milestone popups under Content → Completion, with your own message, appearance, video, and next-step button.
Control How Your Step Output Is Formatted
Formatting comes from your step prompt, so ask for it there. The step editor supports headings, bold, italic, strikethrough, bullet and numbered lists, tables, and paragraphs. Anything else will not render.
Where Can I Add Video in My AI Hub?
You can add video to eight user-facing areas: the hub home, Journeys page, Journey, Milestone, Step help, question help, Content (Intermission), and Conversations page. Put each video where users need that explanation.
Reorder Journeys, Milestones, and Steps
Drag a Journey, Milestone, or Step in the list or Canvas View to change its order within the same parent. If the new order puts a Step before context it uses, OBIE flags the problem and links you to the settings that need attention.
Move or Copy Journeys, Milestones, and Steps
Use Move to change an item's parent, or Copy to duplicate it and keep the original. After a move, OBIE flags Step context that may no longer be available in the new location.
Understand and Resolve Step Context Warnings
OBIE flags Step links that rely on information users may not have completed yet. Keep needed links and fix the order, or unlink sources you no longer need; unlinking takes effect for users right away.
