How Do I Rename My AI Hub or Change Its URL?

Edit AI Hub Name or AI Hub URL under Hub Settings → General, then select Save Pending Edits. The fields are independent. Changing the name doesn't change the address; changing the subdomain means you'll need to update old links because they don't redirect.

Rename your hub

1. Open Hub Settings → General.
2. Edit AI Hub Name.
3. Select Save Pending Edits. If other settings pages have pending changes too, choose whether to save those as well or only this page.

You can also use Rename from the hub's menu on the AI Hubs list.

Your hub's name can be different from its address. For example, a hub named "The Writing Workshop" can keep writing.obie.io when you rename it to "Better Business Writing."

Change the address

1. In Hub Settings → General, find AI Hub URL.
2. Replace the subdomain. Enter just the part before .obie.io, not a full web address.
3. Wait for Subdomain is available. If the address is already used or reserved by OBIE, choose another.
4. Select Save Pending Edits.

OBIE formats the subdomain in lowercase and removes unsupported characters. Check the resulting address before saving.

Update links you've already shared

Your old subdomain won't redirect to the new one. Update website links, bookmarks, and any instructions that point to the old address. Offer-page links that use the old subdomain need updating too.

Emails you've already sent don't change. New emails fill in the hub name and address when they're sent.

Check the change

Open the intended address directly and confirm it reaches your hub. Use a user account with access if you want to check the name users see. Creator preview is useful for appearance, but isn't a substitute for checking the actual public address.
