How Do I Duplicate an AI Hub?

Duplicating an AI Hub gives you a full copy of an existing hub — its branding and settings *and* its content. Your journeys, milestones, steps, creator conversations, knowledge documents, and base prompts all come across. What stays behind is everything that belongs to your users: members, free passes, their chats, and their progress.

The copy always arrives unpublished, on its own URL, so nothing goes live and nothing you do in it can touch the original.

Duplicate a hub

• Go to your hubs list and find the hub's card.
• Select the ⋮ menu on the card, then select Duplicate AI Hub.
• The copy appears in your list named "[your hub name] - Copy", with a URL slug ending in -copy. If that slug is taken, OBIE adds a number to keep it unique.

Org Admins and Managers can duplicate a hub. A duplicate is a new hub and counts against the hub limit on your plan, so if you're already at your limit nothing is created and you'll need to upgrade or delete a hub first.

What comes across

• All of your content — journeys, with their milestones, steps, and questions, in the same structure and order
• Your conversations — the conversation templates you created for the hub
• Knowledge documents — your uploaded documents, along with the knowledge built from them, so the copy's AI has the same material to draw on
• Base prompts — hub purpose, tone, ideal user, ideal outcome, industry rules, and your step base prompt
• Branding and look — logo and logo size, favicon, brand colors, background image and color, theme and style, and your default colors for journeys, milestones, steps, and conversations
• Custom labels — whatever you renamed journeys, milestones, steps, and conversations to
• Landing page and explainer — title, subtitle, description, welcome message, explainer copy and media
• Welcome email settings — from name, reply-to address, subject, and template
• Access settings — whether access is enforced and which tags are required
• SEO and analytics settings — meta title and description, social preview image, indexing preference, and your tracking IDs

What does not come across

Everything that belongs to your users stays with the original hub:

• No members. Nobody who had access to the original has access to the copy, and registrations and invitations aren't copied.
• No free passes. Any offer free passes you issued stay on the original.
• No user work. Step responses, generated outcomes, and completion progress belong to the original hub only.
• No user chats. Your users' conversation threads and messages aren't copied — the templates are, the conversations they had are not.
• No live state. The copy starts unpublished, even if the original is live. You publish it when you're ready.
• No custom domain. A domain can only serve one hub, so the copy never inherits the original's custom domain. It lives at its -copy link until you give it its own.

Two things to check right after duplicating

• Its name and URL. Rename it and set the real slug before you share it anywhere, so you're not sending people to a -copy link.
• SEO fields. Meta title, description, and social preview image are copied as-is, so update them unless you want two hubs presenting themselves identically.

When duplicating is the right move

• A new version of a program that works. Duplicate it, rework the copy while the original keeps running with its users in it, then publish when you're happy.
• Same brand, different offer. You've settled your look, labels, tone, and prompts, and you want the next hub to inherit all of it instead of setting it up again.
• A house style template. Some creators keep one hub configured the way they like and duplicate it every time they start something new.
• Testing a change to tone or prompts without touching a hub that has real users in it.
