Customize a Journey

Building Your Hub

Customize a journey's name, description, background, and visibility rules from its Settings page. Journeys inherit their background from the hub by default but can have their own custom look.

Each journey has its own settings page where you can control what members see and when they see it. Open a journey and select Settings to access these options.

Content

From Settings → Content, update the journey's name and description. These are what members see in the journey listing and when they open the journey.

Customize (appearance)

From Settings → Customize, set a custom background for this journey. Options include:

  • None — no background (transparent).
  • Solid color — a single color.
  • Gradient — two colors with direction and opacity controls.
  • Image — an uploaded image displayed as cover (fills the area) or contain (fits within the area). You can add a color overlay on top of an image.

By default, a journey inherits its background from the hub. Turn on the Customize toggle to override it. Turn it off to go back to the inherited background.

Visibility Rules

From Settings → Visibility Rules, control when this journey appears to members. You can gate access by completed steps, dates, user tags, active offers, and more. See How Visibility Rules Work for the full list of conditions.

Publishing

Journeys have a draft/published status. Members only see published journeys. You can publish or unpublish from the journey's listing or from within the journey itself.

Frequently asked questions

Do milestones inside the journey inherit its background?
Yes. Milestones inherit the journey's background by default, which in turn inherits from the hub. Each level can override the one above it.
Can I hide a journey until members complete something else?
Yes. Use visibility rules on the journey to control when it appears — based on completed steps, dates, tags, or other conditions.
Where do I publish or unpublish a journey?
You can change a journey's published status from the journey listing page or from within the journey itself.
