Hub Analytics Settings: Connect Your Tracking Platforms
Under Hub Settings → Advanced → Analytics you paste one ID per platform — GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Clarity, Pinterest — and OBIE injects that platform's standard script on your hub's public pages. Blank fields are skipped.
The Analytics page connects your tracking platforms to your hub. You paste one ID per platform, and OBIE injects that platform's standard script on your hub's public pages — leave a field blank and nothing is injected for it. There are no other settings: no events to configure, no code to paste.
Find it under Hub Settings → Advanced → Analytics. Each ID is validated when you save, so a malformed ID is caught before it goes live.
The seven platforms
- Google Analytics 4 — the Measurement ID, starting with G-. In Google Analytics: Admin → Data streams, open your web stream; the Measurement ID is at the top right.
- Google Tag Manager — the Container ID, starting with GTM-. Shown next to your container name on the GTM workspace home. Use this instead of GA4 if you manage all your tags through GTM.
- Meta Pixel — the numeric Pixel ID. In Meta Events Manager: select Data sources; the ID sits under your pixel's name.
- TikTok Pixel — the Pixel ID (letters and numbers). In TikTok Ads Manager: Assets → Events → Web events, open your pixel, and copy the ID from Manage → Setup.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — the numeric Partner ID. In LinkedIn Campaign Manager: Analyze → Insight tag (older accounts: Account Assets → Insight Tag), then choose to install manually to reveal the Partner ID.
- Microsoft Clarity — the Project ID (letters and numbers). In Clarity: Settings → Overview for the project, or read it out of the project URL.
- Pinterest Tag — the numeric Tag ID. In Pinterest Ads: Ads → Conversions, and copy the ID shown for your tag.
Platform navigation changes more often than OBIE does; if a path above has moved, search that platform's help for the ID name in bold — that name is stable even when the menus aren't.
Connect a platform
1. Open your hub, select Hub Settings, then Analytics under Advanced.
2. Paste each ID into its field. You can fill in as many or as few as you like.
3. Select Save.
Scripts start loading on your next page view. Nothing is retroactive — you'll only see data from the moment you save forward.
What gets tracked
The scripts run on your hub's public pages, which is where the decisions you care about happen: the pages a visitor sees before signing in, and your offer pages. That means you can measure ad traffic, landing-page views, and conversions on your offers using the same tools you already use elsewhere.
Two things to know. First, this is standard page-level tracking — OBIE isn't sending custom events, so build your conversion tracking from page views and destination URLs. Second, if you're running paid ads, put the pixel in before you spend, not after: no pixel means no conversion data for that period, and it can't be backfilled.
Check it
Open one of your hub's public pages and confirm the platform reports it: Realtime in Google Analytics, Test events in Meta Events Manager, or your platform's live view. Browser extensions like Google Tag Assistant or Meta Pixel Helper will also tell you whether the script fired. If nothing shows up, first check you pasted the right kind of ID — a Measurement ID in the GTM field, or vice versa, is the usual culprit.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I use both GA4 and Google Tag Manager?
- Yes, but you usually shouldn't. If GTM already loads GA4, adding the GA4 Measurement ID here too will double-count your page views. Pick one.
- Does tracking follow members inside the hub?
- No. Scripts are injected on your hub's public pages, not on the signed-in member experience.
- Can I add a platform that isn't listed?
- Not directly — there's no custom-script field. If your platform can be deployed through Google Tag Manager, use the GTM container as your workaround.
- Will removing an ID delete my data?
- No. Clearing a field just stops the script from loading; the data already in that platform stays there.
