What Is a Journey?

Getting Started

A journey is a guided path inside your AI Hub that takes members from where they start to a specific outcome. Each journey is made up of milestones and steps, and members work through them in order.

A journey is how you structure a program, course, or process inside your hub. It represents one complete guided experience — with a beginning, a progression, and an end goal. Members open a journey and move through it step by step.

How journeys are structured

Every journey is built from two layers:

  • Milestones — major phases or stages that mark real progress. Think of them as chapters.
  • Steps — individual actions inside each milestone. A step might be something to read, questions to answer, or an AI-guided working session.

Members complete steps, which complete milestones, which complete the journey.

When to use multiple journeys

Each journey should pursue one clear outcome. If your hub covers genuinely different programs or tracks — say, an onboarding program and an advanced certification — those are separate journeys. If it's all phases of one process, keep it as one journey with milestones for each phase.

Journey settings

Each journey has its own settings page where you can configure:

  • Content — the journey's name and description that members see.
  • Customize — background colors, gradients, and images specific to this journey.
  • Visibility Rules — conditions that control when this journey appears to a member (date-based, tag-based, completion-based, and more).

Publishing and drafts

Journeys start as drafts. Members can't see a journey until you publish it. You can unpublish a journey at any time to hide it from members without deleting it.

Customizable labels

"Journeys" is just the default label. In your hub settings, you can rename them to whatever fits your program — Tracks, Programs, Pathways, Modules, or anything else. Help articles use the default name.

Frequently asked questions

How many journeys can a hub have?
There's no hard limit on journeys per hub. Create as many as your program needs — each one is a separate guided path toward a specific outcome.
Can I control the order members see journeys?
Yes. You can reorder journeys from the hub's journey listing page by dragging them into the order you want.
Do members have to finish one journey before starting another?
Not by default — members can access any published journey. If you want to gate access, you can use visibility rules to make a journey appear only after specific conditions are met.
Can I rename Journeys to something else?
Yes. In your hub settings, you can change the label to anything that fits your program — Tracks, Programs, Modules, or whatever makes sense to your audience.
