Point Your Login Page to an Offer

Members & Access

In Hub Settings → Login, enable Sign Up Link and choose an Offer Page to add a sign-up link, or choose a live offer in Guest Redirect Offer Page to send signed-out visitors there. Select Save Pending Edits to make either change live.

You can connect your hub's login page to an offer in two ways, both under Hub Settings → Login. Turn on Sign Up Link and choose an Offer Page to add a sign-up link, or choose a live offer in Guest Redirect Offer Page to send signed-out visitors there instead of the login page. Select Save Pending Edits to make either change live.

Add a sign-up link to the login page

Use this when most visitors already have an account, but you want newcomers to have a way in.

1. Open your hub and go to Hub Settings → Login.

2. Turn on Sign Up Link. This shows a sign-up link on your login page for people without an account.

3. Under Sign Up Link Goes To, select Offer Page, then pick the offer in Choose an offer.

4. Select Save Pending Edits to make the login changes live.

The link opens that offer's page. If the page is unpublished or the offer is deleted, the link quietly disappears from the login page rather than leading nowhere. If you haven't made an offer yet, you'll see Create an offer first. The sign up link opens the offer's page.

You can also select Custom URL and enter a full web address in Sign Up Link URL if your sign-up lives somewhere else, like your own website. Switching between Offer Page and Custom URL clears the other choice.

Send signed-out visitors to an offer

Use this when your hub address is something you share publicly and you'd rather new visitors see your offer first.

In Guest Redirect Offer Page, choose one of your live offers and select Save Pending Edits. Visitors who aren't signed in and open your hub's address, or a protected page inside your hub, go to that offer's page instead of the login page. When it's set, you'll see Users who are not signed in will be redirected to this offer. under the field. Allow about a minute for a changed redirect to take effect.

Only live offers are listed, so publish the offer page first. To go back to the usual behavior, choose Login page and select Save Pending Edits.

If you later unpublish or delete that offer, OBIE stops redirecting and visitors see the login page again. The field shows Your chosen offer is no longer live. Users who are not signed in will see the login page. so you know to pick another one.

Existing users can still log in

When an offer is your guest redirect, its page always shows a Log in button, so returning users can still reach the login page. On that offer's Content tab, the Log in button row can't be hidden while it's the guest redirect. On other offer pages, use the eye icon on that row to show or hide it, then publish the page to make the change live.

Which one should you use?

If Jennifer Walsh's hub is mostly for existing clients, a sign-up link keeps the login page front and center while giving new people a path. If she promotes her hub address in podcasts and ads, a guest redirect makes sure first-time visitors land on her offer, not a login form. You can use both at once.

Frequently asked questions

Why isn't my offer listed under Guest Redirect Offer Page?
Only live offers are listed. Publish the offer's page first, then come back and choose it.
Can my existing users still log in if I use a guest redirect?
Yes. The redirect offer's page always shows a Log in button, and you can't turn it off while that offer is the guest redirect.
What happens if I unpublish the offer my login page points to?
The sign-up link hides from the login page, and the guest redirect stops, so signed-out visitors see the login page again.
Can the sign-up link go to my own website instead?
Yes. Under Sign Up Link Goes To, choose Custom URL, enter the full web address, and select Save Pending Edits.
