Create Your First AI Hub with the OBIE Builder
Open AI Hubs, select Create New AI Hub, and answer OBIE’s interview in plain language. Then pick Quick Build for a complete draft in minutes, or Build Together to shape each journey with OBIE. Come back to the builder anytime to keep refining.
Start the builder
- Open AI Hubs from the top navigation.
- Select Create New AI Hub. You’ll need the Org Admin role to see this button — and if it’s disabled, you’ve reached your plan’s AI Hub limit.
The interview
OBIE opens with one question:
What does someone actually walk away with after going through your work — what changes for them?
From there it asks a handful of follow-ups, one at a time and free of product jargon: how you take someone from where they start to that result, what you deliver along the way, what makes your approach yours. Talk the way you’d talk to a client. Attach files if that’s easier — OBIE accepts PDF, Word, TXT, and Markdown — and folds them in. You can answer by voice, too.
When OBIE has the shape of your program, it plays back an outline starting with your AI Hub’s name, followed by the journeys and milestones it plans to create, and asks you to confirm before anything gets built. You’ll also get a quick branding step for your logo and colors.
Pick your build style
Once you confirm the outline, OBIE offers two ways to get to a finished hub:
- Quick Build (Build It All Now) — OBIE builds your entire AI Hub right now: journeys, milestones, and steps, from everything you’ve shared. The build runs safely in the background, so you can navigate away or close your browser and come back when it’s done. Great when you want to see the full picture fast.
- Build Together (Start My First Journey) — OBIE builds the hub outline, then works through each journey with you: asking questions, digging into details, building as you go. It takes longer, but the result reflects far more of what you know.
Neither choice is final — you can refine everything after the build.
When the build finishes
You’ll see Your AI Hub is Ready with two buttons: Preview as User (experience the hub as a member) and Go to new AI Hub (open the creator view). One important detail: OBIE saves everything it built as drafts. Members won’t see your journeys until you publish them — see How Do I Make My AI Hub Live?
Come back and refine
The builder isn’t a one-time wizard. After your hub is created, you can reopen the builder at any level — hub, journey, milestone, or step — to keep refining with OBIE. It picks up your earlier interview context, so you don’t start from scratch.
Prefer to build by hand?
You’ll see an Advanced Mode link at the bottom-right of the builder that skips the AI interview and walks you through the setup sections manually. You can mix approaches: build with OBIE first, then fine-tune everything by hand.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I redo the build after Quick Build finishes?
- Yes. Neither Quick Build nor Build Together is final — you can edit, restructure, or rebuild any part of your hub afterward.
- What file types can I attach during the interview?
- PDF, Word (.docx), plain text (.txt), and Markdown (.md). OBIE reads them and incorporates the content into your hub’s structure.
- Why is the Create New AI Hub button disabled?
- You’ve reached your plan’s AI Hub limit. Upgrade your plan to create additional hubs.
- Can I answer the builder interview by voice?
- Yes. You can speak your answers instead of typing — OBIE processes voice input the same way.
- Can I come back to the builder after my hub is created?
- Yes. You can reopen the builder at any level — hub, journey, milestone, or step — to continue refining with OBIE. It remembers the context from your original interview.

How Do I Make My AI Hub Live?
There's no single publish button. Your AI Hub is live for a member when three things are true: the hub is Active (the default), its journeys are published, and that member has access.
