Set Your Offer's Pricing: One-Time, Payment Plan, Monthly, and Annual

Selling & Payments

On the offer's Product tab, set Access type to Paid, choose Subscription (Monthly, Annual) or Purchase (One-time payment, Payment plan), turn on the options you want, and select Save. Buyers pick from the options you turned on at checkout.

Open the offer, go to the Product tab, and set Access type to Paid. Choose Subscription for Monthly or Annual billing, or Purchase for a One-time payment or a Payment plan, turn on the options you want, enter your prices, and select Save. Buyers choose from the options you turned on when they check out.

Before you start

Stripe has to be connected before a paid offer can be saved. If it isn't, you'll see Connect Stripe to sell paid offers above the pricing. You can still type your prices, but Save stays unavailable until Stripe is connected under Account → Payments. See Connect Stripe and Start Selling.

Set the price

1. In your hub, select Offers, then select Edit on the offer.

2. Open the Product tab and set Access type to Paid.

3. Choose Subscription or Purchase. An offer uses one or the other, not both.

4. Turn on one or both options for that mode and enter the amounts, then select Save. You'll see Offer saved. when it's done.

The amount next to Product & access gives you a quick summary of what you've set, like a single price or the number of options buyers will see. If you change your mind before saving, Cancel puts everything back the way it was.

Subscription: Monthly and Annual

With Subscription, you can turn on Monthly, Annual, or both. If both are on, buyers pick the plan they want at checkout. A common setup is a monthly price plus a discounted annual price. To send people straight to just one of those plans, see Link Straight to One Billing Option.

Purchase: One-time payment and Payment plan

With Purchase, you can turn on One-time payment, Payment plan, or both. A payment plan is written as a sentence: the number of payments, the amount of each payment, and how often they're charged in days, weeks, or months. For example, 3 payments of $199 every 1 month. The form shows the total next to it so you can check your math.

A payment plan needs at least 2 payments, an amount for each payment, and an interval of at least 1. If something is missing, you'll see a message explaining what to fix.

Check the Stripe status

Under the pricing form, a line tells you where checkout stands:

  • Stripe checkout is created when you save. means this paid offer hasn't been set up in Stripe yet.
  • A message saying checkout is live on Stripe means the offer has synced prices. New prices sync the next time you save.
  • Checkout is paused until Stripe is connected. means your Stripe connection needs attention before anyone can buy.

Price changes only apply after you select Save, so double-check your amounts before you do. If you've changed Stripe accounts, don't rely on this status line alone: existing offers may still need to be set up on the new account. See Connect Stripe and Start Selling.

Frequently asked questions

Can I offer both a monthly subscription and a one-time price on the same offer?
No. An offer is either a subscription or a purchase. Create a separate offer if you want both.
Why is the Save button unavailable on my paid offer?
Save is unavailable if nothing has changed or Stripe isn't connected. Only the account owner can connect Stripe under Account → Payments. If a teammate is editing the Product tab, you'll need to wait until they finish before you can edit it.
What's the shortest payment plan I can set up?
A payment plan needs at least 2 payments. Payments can repeat every set number of days, weeks, or months.
