Connect Stripe and Start Selling
Connect your Stripe account from Account → Payments to sell access to your AI Hub. Payments go directly to your Stripe account — one-time purchases and recurring subscriptions are both supported.
To sell access to your hub through paid offers, you need a Stripe account connected to OBIE. Once connected, payments from your members go directly to your Stripe account.
Connect your Stripe account
- 1. Open Account from the sidebar or top navigation.
- 2. Select Payments from the left sidebar. (Only visible to Org Admins.)
- 3. Follow the prompts to connect your Stripe account. If you don't have one, Stripe will walk you through creating one.
Once connected, your existing Stripe account's branding, payout schedule, and tax settings carry over — you don't need to reconfigure anything.
What Stripe enables
With Stripe connected, you can create paid offers on your hubs:
- One-time purchases — members pay once and get access.
- Recurring subscriptions — members pay on a recurring basis for ongoing access.
You can also create free offers — these don't require Stripe and let members sign up without payment.
How you get paid
Revenue goes directly to your Stripe account. There are no middlemen and no hidden fees. Your Stripe account handles payouts on its own schedule — you manage payout timing, bank accounts, and tax settings inside Stripe's dashboard, not inside OBIE.
After connecting
If you already created offers before connecting Stripe, you'll need to re-save each existing offer to link it to your Stripe account. New offers created after connecting will be linked automatically.

- Do I need a Stripe account to sell on OBIE?
- Yes. OBIE uses Stripe to process payments. If you don't have a Stripe account, you'll be guided through creating one when you connect.
- Does OBIE take a cut of my sales?
- Payments go directly to your Stripe account. Stripe charges its standard processing fees. Check your OBIE plan for any platform-specific details.
- Can I sell without Stripe?
- You can create free offers without Stripe. But to accept payments — one-time or recurring — you need Stripe connected.
- Where do I manage my payouts?
- Payouts are managed inside your Stripe dashboard (dashboard.stripe.com), not inside OBIE. Stripe handles payout timing, bank accounts, and tax settings.
