Change Your Account Name or Organization Name

Open your account menu and select Account Settings to update your personal name, organization name, or required Time Zone. Select Save Changes to apply the update. Email address changes require OBIE support.

Update your settings

  1. Open your account menu and select Account Settings.
  2. Update First Name or Last Name for your personal name.
  3. Update Organization Name if you want to rename your workspace.
  4. Check the required Time Zone field and choose the appropriate time zone.
  5. Select Save Changes.

Look for Account updated successfully to confirm the save.

Organization name

Your organization name identifies your workspace, not an individual AI Hub. Names must be unique and the form accepts 2–100 characters. If another organization already uses your chosen name, OBIE asks you to choose a different one.

Changing this name doesn't change your hub's name or address. See How Do I Rename My AI Hub or Change Its URL? for those changes.

Time Zone

The organization's time zone supplies the default for date and time rules across your hubs. A hub can have its own override under Hub Settings → General → Time Zone.

Changing your name doesn't require choosing a different time zone, but the required field must have a valid selection before you save.

Email address

Email Address is read-only on this page. Contact OBIE support if you need to change it; editing your personal or organization name doesn't update your email.

Can I change my email address on this page?
No. Email Address is read-only. Contact OBIE support for an email address change.
Will renaming my organization change my hub URLs?
No. The organization name, hub name, and hub address are separate settings.
Do I need to change my time zone when I change my name?
No. Keep the existing time zone if it's correct. The field is required, so check that it has a valid selection before saving.
Can one hub use a different time zone?
Yes. Set an override under Hub Settings → General → Time Zone. Without an override, the hub inherits the organization's time zone.
