Paid Offers Are Here, Smarter Builder, and Real-Time Team Editing

This week brings three big upgrades to OBIE — a new payments engine, a more powerful hub builder, and the ability for your team to collaborate on milestones in real time — plus some nice additions to the step editor. Here's what changed and what it means for you.

Sell Your Offers with Stripe

OBIE now supports paid offers — one-time purchases and recurring subscriptions — powered by Stripe. Connect your Stripe account, set a price on any offer, and you're in business.

What you can do:

• Sell offers as one-time purchases or recurring subscriptions — Set your price, and Stripe handles checkout, payment methods, invoicing, and fraud detection.
• Use your existing Stripe account — Your branding, payout schedule, and tax settings all carry over. Connect under Account → Payments and you're set.
• Direct payouts — Revenue goes straight to your Stripe account. No middlemen, no hidden fees, and no extra steps.
• Smoother free offer sign-ups too — Members can now create an account and log in directly from a free offer page, removing the extra sign-in step.
• More customizable offer pages — Set background colors on hero sections, customize the closing call-to-action, and emails now use your hub's configured sender name.

Getting started

Connect your Stripe account under Account → Payments, then open any offer and set your pricing. If you have existing offers, you'll need to re-save them once after connecting Stripe — just open each offer and hit save.

Hub Builder: More Reliable, Smarter, and Easier to Revisit

The hub builder got a ground-up overhaul this week. Builds are more reliable, produce better-structured hubs, and give you more control after the initial build is done.

Builds that survive anything

Hub builds now run safely in the background. If you close your browser, lose your connection, or navigate away, the build keeps going. Come back and it picks up right where it left off — no lost progress, no need to start over.

Better-structured hubs out of the box

The AI architect now plans hubs around delivering a clear outcome, with natural pause points and milestones that build on each other. Steps are ordered logically, and quality checks catch issues like empty steps or broken dependencies before they reach your members.

Add new journeys, milestones, and steps after the initial build

Once your hub is built, you can add new journeys, milestones, or steps using the same guided builder — no need to rebuild the whole thing. Open the builder at any level, and it picks up your earlier context so you can expand your hub naturally over time.

Creating a new hub, journey, or milestone now opens the guided builder by default. If you prefer to set everything up manually, Advanced Mode is always one click away.

Real-Time Collaboration Is Here — Starting with Milestones

OBIE now supports real-time team editing. Starting this week, multiple team members can edit milestone settings at the same time — and this is just the beginning of a larger rollout.

How it works today

• See who's here — Presence indicators show which team members are viewing or editing the same milestone.
• No accidental overwrites — Per-field locking means if someone else is editing a setting, that field is locked for you until they're done.
• Shared draft, shared decision — All edits go into a shared working draft. When you're ready, any team member can publish the changes or discard them.

What's coming next

Over the coming weeks, this same real-time collaboration will roll out across the entire platform — journeys, steps, and hub settings. The goal is for your whole team to be able to work on a hub together without stepping on each other's toes. Milestones are the first piece, and the rest is on the way.

Step Editor Additions

Fixed Guidance: a new step type

Sometimes you need your members to receive specific guidance exactly as written — no rewording, no reformatting. The new Fixed Guidance step type locks the response text so members can read and copy it, or use AI tools like Enhance and Regenerate, but can't manually edit the creator's content. Perfect for compliance-sensitive material, prescriptive advice, or any step where the wording matters.

Use your documents to write better prompts

When using "Enhance My Prompt" on a step, you can now select up to five documents from your library as context. The AI uses them to draft a more targeted prompt — the documents aren't saved to the step, just used once to inform the draft. Great for grounding your prompts in existing frameworks, guides, or reference material.

Bug Fixes and Performance

Alongside the big features, we shipped a batch of fixes that make the day-to-day experience smoother:

• Fixed a memory leak that was gradually slowing down the app during long sessions.
• Resolved issues where step responses and milestone data could cause errors under heavy use.
• Auto-save is more stable — no more crashes from frequent saves.
• Impersonation mode now correctly applies visibility rules, so what you see matches what your members see.
